Team Lucky Seven is a nonprofit committed to funding research and finding cures for brain diseases.
As a Team Lucky Seven athlete, your event of any distance or any type can help in this fight. Wheather you are running a local 5km, Marathon, Sprint Triathlon, IRONMAN* Triathlon, Mountain Bike or Road Bike race you can sign up and take pledges for the Neurological Disease most important to you. Based on your pleadge amount you can gear up with Team Lucky Seven apparel for this important cause.
The funds raised by athletes all over the country are pooled together and sent directly to a leading hospital with a designation for research only. Example, all athlete pledges for MS research are added together and may be sent to The Mayo Clinic for MS research only. Parkinson's research may go to another hospital. Our goal is to put the maximum percent of every dollar pledged directly into the hands of doctors and keep all overhead and organizational costs as low as possible. Right now all time committed by the founder and director of Team Lucky Seven is on a volunteer basis with $0.00 compensation being paid.
